Yeh, another great session this arvo, came in a bit later but very solid, only 2 kites as far as the eye could see here in dongara, i frigging love this place![]()

Yeah, photos taken at Drummond Cove -- only waves here are when we get a 4+m swell. Pretty flat at the moment. Down around the corner at Glennies there would have been some head-high sets and Coronation is only about a 15min drive to the north of here. It's a great spot. Rarely any kites up except on the weekend and after being in Drummond Cove for 6 months, I've never seen anyone else kite here...
It's because of that big high pressure weather system slowly rolling in across WA this week. Because you are at a higher latitude it mimics 'summer' conditions. It'll turn NW'ly-W'ly by Saturday arvo.
Well that wasnt too bad, probably the first seabreeze for Perth, nicely powerd up on an 8m Kitefactory Maori and the surf board, just no waves...
Nice sunset session on the Zephyr at Brighton beach... couple of whales cruising past and I gybed right alongside them. Gave me a bit of a fright! Dont fall in and hope no whitey's tracking them...
