Is it worth the one hour drive to get down there today? getting very confusing indications of wind forecasts....currently blowing 13Knts which wont get me out of the water - me being a fat bugger!
Sod it...if I dont go and there is wind i will be fed up and I will stay fat therefore less kiting therefore less shenanigans with wife...

Supposed to pick up later in the afternoon according to BOM Marine Wind forecast. The tide is high in the early arvo so hopefully the sandbars will be less of an issue this time.

Worst case is you get kitted up, pump the kite, not enough wind to fly, pack it up and had a little workout getting it all ready.
I headed......I pumped and pumped....16m Rhino ready to go......11.30 nothing....12.30.....200m one way.....1.30pm loving it......245pm on 16M ARGhhhhhhhh fully depowered.....best way of stopping.....FACEPLANT...and repeat!
Feel sorry for the guy with the new liquid force which had a leak......
Busy day....got home...wife expects me to cook......I ordered in.....
Going to bed now....gotta be in altona to teach my neice in the morning lol!!

Hey mate,
Good to meet you today, that was my kite that went flat (like 3 bloody times, damn slow leak) anyway that wind really picked up in the afternoon and I was fully lit on my 10 at about 5 i changed kites and had a great kite eventually. It was a good end to a frustrating day, I wish I could do it all again tomorrow but back to work unfortunately.
