Was given this on my website... thought it good to post the info on here for albany kitesurfers...

"little information currently exists to describe how and where the community uses the marine environment for recreation across the south coast region. We invite anyone who recreates in the south coast marine environment, whether on holidays, occasionally, or every day, to complete the South Coast Regional Marine Planning Recreational Marine Usage Survey. Every person's response is important and we are looking for more responses to the survey to get the best possible representation of marine recreation to use in South Coast Regional Marine Planning. We are interested in any kind of recreational activity that relates to the marine environment. So far we have not had alot of responses from kitesurfers! "

you can go to the link shown below to download and to find more info about the survey...

rmp.naturebase.net/south-coast/community-recreational-marine-usage-survey.html

"Results can then be used together with information on other marine uses and environmental values, to help planners identify and manage potential issues or impacts on the community in their future marine planning exercises. Individual results will be kept strictly confidential. Only the summary of all the survey responses will be used. For additional information on South Coast Regional Marine Planning and the survey please visit the website: http://rmp.naturebase.net/, or contact Peter van Schoubroeck at the Albany Department of Environment and Conservation office on 9842 4500, or email peter.vanschoubroeck@dec.wa.gov.au. Many thanks for your help! This project is funded by South Coast Natural Resource Management Inc., the regional group for NRM on the South Coast of Western Australia. Funding provided by the Australian and Western Australian Governments through the joint National Action Plan for Salinity and Water Quality programme and the Natural Heritage Trust."

Even though I am not from down your way, I did fill out the from and will send it in.

Hopefully I will get the survey results as having been a participant. I really wonder what the org. is trying to achieve with this. If the majority down there are in to fish killing, then does the org. protect their interests over the that of the fish?

This is not a troll.

I will fill it in as well. I'm not sure when we will get to Esperance again but it is such a beautiful spot of WA.
