The 2010 ALIBI will be in Perth this weekend and available for demo on Saturday the 20th.

It looks like its going to be windy, which is a good thing!
For those who are game, I will also bring the hardcore high wind kites O.S. 5m, 7m, 9m.

Where would you like the Demo?
You have until Thursday to secure a demo ride at your local beach.

If you dont know what an ALIBI is check this thread out.

The ALIBI can be seen in the small youtube attachments too.

Woodies sounds great, wind looks nice and angry. Whats the idea/concept behind the wind descriptions on the tips of the kite, seriously?

looks cool, but nothin beats Skulls and Flames.....not

What about Scarbs or maybe a spot that is a bit easier to get out.

Wouldn't Mullaloo or one of the oo's be a good spot as it offers both flat water and waves, I think .

I have been keen to try out this kite and to retry the OS 7m since I have a bit more flying time under my belt, just hope I can get there.

Cheers
Rich

Leighton or Scarbs

Scarbs could be too hardcore on Saturday.

See what kind of forecast Laurie gives us tomorrow.

To really demo a kite dont you want everything to be about the kite? riding big chop doesnt give me a feel for the kite as you ride slower and cant push the kite to it's limits, leighton or scabs count me out

Looking at the Metro green arrows on Saturday its going to be totally on shore with 4m waves

Seems like the most votes have been for Woodies.

So see you between 1100 and 1300 at Woodmans point.

Hey Hedges, Looking forward to seeing the NT Heineken Army in November!

So guy's whats the consensus.

I could not make it down today.

N8 are you doing more demo's later in the year or have you got a guy down in Perth.

I am looking for a small kite that will be good in 20 + knots @ 91kg on a surfboard, how did the Alibi perform?

Cheers
Rich

Hi Rich,
A few people scratched around the kite between squals and some lucky people had the opportunity of demoing the 8m ALIBI as well.
You probably wont believe me but the people who tried the kite said the ALIBI was far better than the kite they currently have.

My consensus is Perth is a great place for finding a large variety of fast food but its not real great for kiting.
Unfortunately for the people who missed out I wont be going south to Perth until the weather improves.

Here's hung over Jayden demoing an 8m ALIBI on the southern side of the fishing rocks.
