Another project of mine is to make a board that boosts so high you catch on fire because your too close to the sun.
It will be the Icarus board.
So.... If you were to dream of the best board to load and pop off a wave lip. What would it be? what current boards are the best boosters? what size would you choose? flex, rocker?
It must be able to go super fast and hold the mother of all power to then be unleashed when the wave lips hit.
I'm thinking a monk with just slightly more squared off rails, with the NHP/ axis quad channells.....
I'm thinking board has very little to do with boost height,
Timing and kite size vs wind speed surely has everything to do with how high you fly.

Your right. Height is mainly due to technique, wind speed, board speed, kitesize and type.
But...
With all other aspects being equal the correct board will help you hold more speed and power to load and pop with more ping. That will give you more height.
