After enquiring with a Naish Dealer about a new quiver of an 8m and an 11m Naish Pivot I was told he or no dealer in Australia stock the 8m Pivot.
This sounds crazy, is there no dealer in Australia with an 8m (and 11m )Pivot?
Try kite Republic they have most of them in stock all the time. Great people to deal with. I love my 11m pivot great all round size.
8m pivot is my favourite kite ever.
had that and the 11m out today and got them both from Kite Republic.
It's not that the dealers don't stock them, more that they have sold out of them. We sold ours and the last one the distributor had sorry.
There might be a shop somewhere with one left but I don't know of one.
Powerful kite though, maybe consider the 7m?

I couldn't believe the bottom end on the 7M. I was out on my 13m a a little over powered. And this other guy was on a 7m. Awesome!
The comparison every one makes between the Edge and the Pivot worries me. As far as I am aware the Edge is a race kite that has amazing hang time. The Pivot is a wave kite with good boost. In my eye they are different kites, the Edge sounds a bit boring and has no wave capability. Why does everyone draw parallels between the Edge and Pivot, it make me not want to buy a Pivot?
No your right, we shouldn't compare the edge with the pivot, love the edge for boosting and had heaps of fun on it, just a comparison because that's the kite I came from.
The pivot is a cracker, also good for jumping, but offers more allround.
