Same

Went and visited that guy who has that house for sale at Avalon. I've seen this guy for years, old bloke with this crazy white beard going at a rate of knots on his windsurfer... Never said hello or met him. But yesterday I did and he's a top bloke. Old man and the sea, but age (his wife is struggling with the stairs) is making him sell up and move to a more suitable location.

It was just brilliant walking around his property seeing the history in the place. Even his grandfathers tools in the old shack that's still there, so you can imagine how old they are!!

Such a warm gregarious guy always laughing his head off at this mad world (and it's totally fckn mad)... Anyhow I'm dribbling.

Say hello to crew, get to know them, don't be an assehole like me is what I am saying. Life's too short.

Thanks for putting this vid up. I can relate to it. My wife always says to me don't talk to strangers as a joke. She knows I always will. Strangers soon become friends. That's what life is all about isn't it. Making new friends.

He may not live beyond 77 years of age by attaching his safety line to his left steering line like that...see 4:35 on vid.

Then again as he says "he doesn't really care what other people think"

was that not the main way of flagging out a kite that did not have a separate depower line? I think this was the way the 2006-08 cabs worked but admittedly felt wrong and dangerous and limited any tricks.
