3 year warranty, so if you snap it within 3 yrs you get a new one?
Kite (and kite board) warranties confuse me as just about everything that can go wrong with your gear inevitably is a result of "normal use" and, therefore, are pointless? Anyone has good (or particularly bad) experiences with this kind of thing?
A warranty in kiteboarding world, usually means it is covered for any manufacturing defaults for specified period of time, and is not covered for breakages under normal wear and tear.
So 3 yr wanrraty is... pointless? i.e. any manufacturing flaw you haven't noticed/had an problem with within a month probably isn't an issue.
The '09 NHP i bought came with a '3 year warranty against breakage', which from what i've been told means that any snappage or breakage will be replaced with a new board. This was actually the selling point that made me buy Nobile over a Flexifoil Omega.
I highly doubt a kiteboard manufacturer would give a warranty on a board for slider use. The wakeboarding world has only just started issueing these on specific boards.
