Bummer mate yep Saturday looks awesome forecast to crack 40 here you need to do what I did on my missus birthday ,booked her into a beauty spa for three hours at Prm beach ,and made it look like her idea that I go out for a ride while I'm waiting to pick her back up sweeeeeeet.

We hit 63 knots here in Gippsland today - not a birthday in sight and I was happy not to be out there - fark!! LOL

Actually, I got out today on my 7m for the first time ever - 20 knots gusting to 36 according to the weather webpage. Was a bit hairy at times... small kites are mental!
I might even be able to do that.... take some pics.
yeah small kites are awesome. Was on my 8 yesterday. First time in ages. Absolutely loved it.
Love my small kites ,just got me a new 7 m ,had it out once so far in 28-32 can't wait to try it again this weekend grin factor is gonna be off the charts.
Sorry plummet don't mean to rub it in you'll just have to think of an option for the kids as well.

What is it with chicks and their birthdays? I get reminded every day for a month before hers, which is a good thing because mine could come and go and I wouldn't give a sht, hence I suppose I could forget hers. Bloody attention seekers the lot of em'.
If def lived up to expectations today 25-40 huge waves ,out the back it was 4-5 m got put through the ringer when a huge wave broke right on top of me ,chewed me up and spat me out kite got hammered by a huge set so I punched out swam in and did the reset ,back out for another 3 hours of manic bliss am absolutely shattered ,what was it like up the naki plummet did you manage to sweet talk the missus.
Managed to sneak out for a quick sesh. Yep epic 6m condition. 25-35 knots with the off 40+ squall. I wouldn't call it 6m swell. more like 4m. But very solid slabs. So yes very sweet. I obviously didn't get out for as long as I wanted. but none the less any powered 6m session is very worthy indeed.
Sweet mate glad you wangled it ,was an epic day at times it was total close out ,crazy ride.
