Hey kids i have just got a new 2015 7m reo that came with the 55cm bar. I also have on order a 5m reo with no bar form jason at wa surf. Anyway i assume this 55cm bar will be way too big For the 5m?
Also i have a 50cm 2012 ozone bar (the one that flags out when hooking back in) would this be suitable (adter i glue the safety shut). ??
I also have the 2014 bws bar in 50 if that is more suitable ??
Or just get a 45cm bar??
Thats odd. They don't usually sell Reo's with the 55cm bar.
I use the 50cm on my kites, 6 thru 12.
Will they swap it for a smaller bar?
I use the 45 cm bar on all my kites and would even go smaller like 40cm and under if they did one. 50cm bar comes with the 12 I think- 55cm sounds like a race one for the 17m. Go 45cm- you'll be stoked!!!!

What conditions do you kite in?
Cross to cross/off and windy = small bar
Cross on and light winds = big bar
Also Big surf = long lines
Small surf = shorter

They make a 38cm for the c4 :)
I ride all conditions and am upgrading my 2012 6 8 10 combo of reos that were on 50cm bar. 5m and ill still be overpowered where i kite in summer mate. Cheers for all the advice but ill have a 50 for the 10 and 45 for the 5 and 7. Also 6 and 8 still for sale if anyone interested! Oh and its jason at westoz kiteboarding Not wasurf
To be honest if you're hooked-in 99% of the time it will hardly matter whether you have a small bar for a small kite or not. The reason Ryland would like a smaller bar is because he rides un-hooked 99% of the time (even on a 5m), which makes a big difference if you have a bar that's far too big.
