I had my 2014 12m Lithium out for its first session yesterday.
The bottom end is great. Not so good at the top.
Ive been a lazy freerider for 7 years, and at 90kg I quickly started to feel over powered once it hit 20 knots.
I have come from switchblades, where 25 knots was time to get off the 12m and rig my 9m.
Now it seems that there is no overlap at all between my 12m and 9m (2013 Lithium).

The bar pressure was a little too heavy for my liking, so i switched all 6 connections back to the light bar pressure settings.
Is flying on these settings likely to lower the high end range?
I tied a lower knot in the rear line connections, but still overpowered.

Will removing the top 3m line extensions (making the lines 21.5m) make it fit better in between my 9m lithium and 14m NRG?

For anyone who is going to jump in and tell me to stop eating donuts, get off of my lazy arse, and try different settings for myself, i plan to and will.
But forums are around so that I can pester others who (hopefully) know, so that I can save time for a few more cupcakes.

:)

Hey what board are you riding, size and make. At your weight the lithium should suite. Yeh it's a grunty delta type kite and not for light riders but at 90kg I'd say it would be close to ideal?

Maybe it might just take a bit to dial in...but if you've been at it for 7 years I'd say you'd know pretty quick what it's doing.

Board? Maybe it needs to be paired with a board that can really be loaded up so you can get it further around the window?? Just ideas...

That's where i'm lost!
Cause I was on a Monk Forever 136, and normally its impossible to break its edge!

I think i'll try the 21.5m line setup. The switchies are 22m so maybe that will close the gap a bit. I've never altered line lengths, so it will be interesting to feel out the difference.
