Flaging line is on the bottom right. The reason i am doing this is to use it with a gaastra jekyll, which has no pulleys and is why there bar system is set up for one line flagging. Have not tested this yet but cant see why this would not work perfectly.

Looks like it will flag ok, but the Cab bridle on that model is long and is designed for a 2 front line flag system, so it may have a tendency to make the kite a bit prone to turning a bit when flagged or prone to wrapping a tip, check on lighter winds with an assistant, or unhooked and leash connected to the flag out line and just let go?

Won't work as you intend - it's basically the same system as before, as the safety line is still only the same length. Actually, it's probably shorter as the big ring will likely jam at the trim strap... not safe, IMO.

The 1X bars use a mini-5th line.

To achieve that on an IDS bar, you'd need to get a whole new IDS landing line that is one piece and long enough to go all the way from the ring on the Secondary QR at the CL, to some point near the pigtail on the kite.

IIRC the Cab lines are 23m...? Easiest way to do what you want: ditch the OEM IDS line and bunny; get a 30m+ line, secure it to the Secondary QR, feed it through the PU tube; up through the ring then Lark's Head it onto the pigtail at the kite. Otherwise, you have to splice the (mini-) 5th line into the center line.

The above won't work on Cab CLs that don't do unpinning below the bar - 2011 and earlier, IIRC.

The advantage of doing the mini-5th mod, is that you'd have a low V-split on the lines. You'd still have to buy Cab lines because of the spliced in mini-5th...

Ok, here what your saying but I am sure the original ring was never meant to run through the strap triangle. So I thought if there is enough to flag on two lines it should flag on one.Or does it take more flagging line to flag out on one line apposed to two.Is that what you mean?

Correct.
To flag on 1 line the flag line before a stopper has to be at least the length of a wing span (un inflated length tip to tip)
where as the old IDS system only had to flag a bit more than the greatest chordlength of the kite to ensure full depower.
