I recently purchased a 2009 naish helix kite but it did not come with a bar. I was wondering besides naish if any kite bar will work with this kite?
I think the lines are all "equal length" (check with a Naish shop) If that is the case you can buy any "equal line length bar", they are common. Switch has cheap bars or craigslist where you live.
Bars have 4 or 5 lines. Naish helix uses a 4 line bar. Some kites have 2 pairs of shorter lines. Its pretty rare though i think.
So the bar and the lines on the bar itself would be the same like all the others or would you have to do some adjusting? Because I know some people have problems with diffremt bars. But thanks I will have to check it out I don't want to spend a lot
I have a Naish cult 2009. I use my 4 lines (equal lenght) liquid force bar. It is better if the safety release flags off one line.

Any bar that has a single front line flag out system will work. I know Ozone bars will work, but I have no used ones for sale.
Any bar that flags to one front line, has a low Y and has lines of equal length when fully powered will work. Saying that, the 09 Helix had a reasonably long throw for depower, so to get the best out of it you will need a longer trim line.

My mate has the same problem - got a Helix 12m but needs bar and lines. Deos anyone has the actual brand / type of bar that would match the Helix ??

Just don't use a Cabrinha IDS bar as they are specifically designed for Cab kites post 2009. An older cab bar is ok as they were all 4line equal length, but their depower is crap.
I've got a 12m naish alliance in the cupboard with bar & lines.
Kite needs bladders put back in then good to go.
Pm me if interested as bar should work ok, might just need to remove the fifth
