I can get a 2008 Cabrinha Revolver 12m for a good price.
Marketed as a dedicated surf kite, but would it suit a beginner?
Comment from anyone who has tried or rides Cabrinhas would be appreciated.
Cheers
awesome, you won't be dissapointed, not the best, not the worst..... could only be bettered by the 'slingshot link'.... unless its brand new in plastic don't pay too much mre than a grand
I had one for a month- imo it's more suited to a beginner as against a proper surf kite- they dont have much power , turn slow . I went back to Waroos because they do everything well, except landing in hyper strong winds.
The Revolver would be ok to learn on and then go on to using with a full on surfboard but they just dont work with low bouyancy boards, which I guess is what they were designed for- a bit boring though.
There are other choices. In the Revolver's favour is good quality build and safety system- I'm still using the Cabrinha leash.
