Hi kiters,

I picked up a 2008 F-One Bandit from a friend and need to tune it -as a matter of course.
Now, I've tuned my other two kites, which have even line lengths, so easily attach to a fixed point for tuning.
The Bandit's outer lines are about 1m longer than the centre lines so I'm stumped.
I've read the manual, searched Youtube, asked a mate, but no luck.
Anyone tuned with similar, uneven line lengthed bar?

I'm interested in using my other 4 line bars (2012 RRD and 2013 Cabrinha IDS) with it due to the age and condition of the old bar/lines instead. I'm considering asking a kite workshop to make up a pair of kite specific extender lines/pigtails, which would permanently attach to the wing tip thereby extending the steering lines of the even lengthed line bars.

Good idea, bad idea, advice?

Having also kind same problem: www.seabreeze.com.au/forums/Kitesurfing/Newbies-Tips-Tricks/First-time-oversheeted-kite-bit-confused-noob/

It's very hard to get to stock tuning with kites that have different front/back lines lengths. But i found my way. No stock but it get me what i want.
just get out in kind ideal conditions when you want to fly that kite, set depower to full power, and sheet fully in, from edge of wind window.

now, somebody likes that kite in this setup do a bit of back stall, somebody does not like but it's easy to tune it. i found i like to tune by bandit 7 that in this configuration do bit back stall, that gives me such enormous range.

if you like back stall and want it more, you need to make rear lines shorter. if you want to get rid of back stall you need longer lines.
