Just looking for feedback and experience on the 15-22 knot range big air 12 metre kites out there? Rebel sls, north orbit, core xr? Looking for advice as looking for a 12 upgrade in the quiver? I'm on edges but they don't do a 12 and the 13 a bit too big.
cheers.

Can't beat the Rebel sls hasn't got great low end compared to the other kites but a way better high end. But for the range of wind you are riding in perfect.
Plus I reckon that the Rebel sls is closest to the position of the edge in the wind window. Those two fly further ahead than the orbit or xr. The Eleveight XS V5 is a kite to look at as well. Doesn't sit as far forward as rebel sls and edge.

Every kite is a big air kite if its 9meters in 50 knot winds

No kite is a big air kite if its 12meters

Ozone vortex comes in a 12m. Lighter bar pressure than your Edge but will jump and pull downloops nicely. 12m Vortex will be more powerful than a 12m Rebel too. The rebel will be pretty limp in 15 knots unless you have a big board.

Vortex will work with your bar for your edge too.

The 2024 Duotone Rebel SLS has brilliant low end and up to the high end range for a 12m (25kn). A mate of mine had the 10m Rebel and weighs more than me (82kg) yet gets out there and does bloody good decent jumps around 5 to 10m jumps in under 25kn. Farkk I love this kite. Can't wait to see the 2025 version. Just go out and try one.
