G'day, I got a Ozone pump with my new kite today and it won't pump
. In order to avoid the long Drive to return the pump im hoping someone out there will have my answer.
To put simply,The pump won't pull back. It occasionally does then it jams again. I Squidgy type of jam so i assume the seals aren't working properly.
Any ideas?
Thanx in advance
grab hold of the top of the shaft and gently turn in an anticlockwise direction.
Pull the shaft out of the hole and examine the end of the knob.
Apply Vaseline liberally and re-insert, being careful not to catch any edges on the now lubricated flaps.
Plunge shaft deep into the hole and screw in a clockwise direction.
You should be fine now.
Only other thing to check is to ensure hose is attached to the OUTLET, otherwise it will only suck and not blow.
I don't want to have sex with my pump kitedevil, just fix it. ![]()
Haha will give that a go.
Do dice, didn't work ![]()
maybe the valves around the wrong way, the one with the gauge on it, be carefull you might pull the end of it! ![]()
I'm not sure what's wrong with your pump but don't be afraid to pull it apart and have a look. I've had to pull my Ozone pump apart to fix it when the valves have been clogged with sand. If you unscrew the top and give a reasonable yank the whole thing comes apart so you can see what's happening and its quite stratight forward to put it back together again.
To think i nearly missed out on such a good laugh![]()
I didn't think that this post would be worth the read but you proved me wrong.
Thanks you for the good humour!!!!![]()

I Bought my 08 instinct sport on the weekend and had the same problem! simple fix guage goes on the pump not the handle. i thought the same thing but turned out to be as simple as moving the guage to where its ment to be.
