Interesting changes up for discussion/proposed at the AGM:
minimum thickness and specified materials for lines

Increasing the minimum weight of boards

specifying kite materials used

possible changes to number of kites used at a regatta (I think USA have raised this)

Fin materials (I think Germany has raised this)

Change of rules if a major tangle at or just after start

720 penalty turn, not a 360

looks like the black flag might go for OCS

possibly separate class of racing for course and short course (like the medal race in Melbourne and the preferred Olympic course)

and a few other bits

Hi Ric

Some interesting points there.

I think they are all a good ideas except for the 360 being changed to a 720. I think changing the 360 to include 1 complete tack and 1 complete gybe is enough.

I see they are saying we dont need to gybe or tack the kite though, just the board needs to do a 720
