hi all,

Anyone have any recomendations for a 70cm wide board bag?

I have seen some photos of custom bags in san fran with velcro at the fins so the board can be transported with fins in, anyone know who makes these in Aus?

I searched the world - and didn't find a lot. Purchased a Mystic Race Board Bag (from UK) - just fits a 190 x 70cm board exactly with a little padding. A little scared to use on airlines - maybe as an inner or trips in van where stacking boards.

Purchased an ION 200cm x just over 70cm wheelie bag and is fantastic. Got from Briskites. Carried AA board (not fins), surf board (light/cork), and two large kites (no bar) and come to 28kg. Solid and easy to wheel. Two pc bag - put kites in top and boards in bottom. Added padding to sides and nose, but has reasonable padding.

I seen archie's at the nationals and looked like a good bag for travelling to a heap of gear in it.

If looking for just a bag for the board, I have seen the latest north and Ion bags at kiteandsup.com.au in Newcastle and both have fin slots for a three fin board and fits the north race board in it.
