Not me. but pretty cool

"Skatefoil experiment , 20X85cm carbon plate.
Zeeko carbon foil, Notus Rev 12m and 75cm bar with 50m lines.
I used very long lines because the wind was too low (6/7kts) at the beginning (on this footage the wind increase at 8nds)."

Wow so small, how does he get it to float if he bails?!

There's another few videos of him testing it (float, starting, etc) on his youtube channel. It looks like it just barely floats beneath the surface. Wouldn't want to use it with any chop as you'd probably never find it till it washed ashore if you got separated.

damn, I would have at least rounded the edges of his little plank. Those corners could take an eye out. Not really sure why you would want to make your board so small, I can't see any advantage in that unless it's just to prove that you can ride on a sliver of carbon. I am liking the idea of longer line extensions though, I still haven't tried anything more than 25 mt lines

I've only been using 27m lines. But yesterday was my get out of comfort zone and get out in strong gusty winds day and went back to 24m lines.
i like the 27m lines. Which is just an old 2005 wipika bar and lines with a Zeeko QR and centre line setup.
the Notus Air 8m I use comes with a set of 8m extension lines. That with a std Zeeko bar gives choice of 20, 24, 28, 32m
tempted to try 32

He's using a zeeko carbon foil mounted on the stock shinn reinforcing plate that stiffens the shinnster and el stubbo for foiling. I'm surprised it has enough float. I'm pretty sure he's only doing to because he can and to make a video, not because it's any better than a pocket board.

ah, I get it. NO question about it, he is riding on nearly mast only. Such a small surface area for the feet.
As far as line extensions go, I'm in. Next session will be 28 or 30 depending on what i find in the garage drawers.

Thats the bit that amazes me.
