I can feel the difference that flattening the board makes to speed and upwind performance, but find it difficult to do? I have tried lifting my front foot, that works but is very tiring. Tried moving back foot out of strap and inwards further but that is a not very sustainable either. Is it possibly my upright stance, with weight too much vertical? Running Cabrinha 14m SB in 10-12 knots. I find the std depower and bar throw very difficult to reach, hence made up the "racing" pulley and cleat system to enable outboard trimming. Is that the key, being able to lean outboard??

What about larger fins??

I have found the sector although rides pretty quick when flat it is very heard to keep it like that for any amount of time, but the good thing about it is it seems happy to ride with a little bit of edging.

the board naturally rides with a bias to the rail. you can push it to ride flat and you can feel the speed pick up when you do. but the board does not like to be there no matter what you do.

taking your back foot out of the strap has been the best option i have found.

i think it will need a different set of fins with less cant, but finding mini tuttle race fins is not easy.

the V3 60 has the option of going to 3 fins and has full tuttle fin boxes for the front pair. this board will ride flat and is much easier to race tune.
