I've just spent my lunchbreak fruitlessly looking for how to set up gybe straps - just the front ones - on my Airace board.
I have non-Zeeko straps, and am confused by the single line of holes down the centreline.
Do I have to get a specialised set of Zeeko straps that are joined and only use one screw in the middle, or do I just have one strap just a little offline because it's using a screwhole behind the other?
I've just been using one strap on the centre line, but toeside is tiring, a bit wobbly and you can't go upwind as much.
I've been trying strapless, but that will come with more time and the right conditions to practice.
And while we are at it, does anyone have an undamaged, rear wing for a black, green or blue and white (I gather they are the same), they want to sell, please?
"You should screw the 2 straps with the same screw (a longer one)
The target is to keep the 2 frontstraps as close as possible from the centre line of the board giving the best balance between turning ability and control" from Nicolas at Zeeko.
I reckon a rear wing would be pretty easy to make. They're flat on the top with a bluntish leading edge leading to a pretty standard foil on the bottom. Angled such that the top flat surface is pointing ever so slightly down at the front. Not as much stress on them as a front wing so materials and foil shape are less critical.
And keep working on your strapless skills. Strapless toeside carving and riding swell is a beautiful thing!

Thx. That sorts it. Will persist with strapless in right conditions.

Yours is damaged or did you loose it?
if it's damaged, happy to assist with repairs.
