I was really pleased to see that we had 17 people register for racing on Friday night. The breeze was fickle at best and the chop was still there from earlier in the day.

Long story short, the race was abandoned as the breeze died out. However it was great to see the rescue crews putting kite rescue into practice.

17 was good but we want more.
So I'd you have ever considered racing come down its just $10 for the night.

For more info, syc kite racing on Facebook
Or email syckiteracing@gmail.com

Thanks for all the support from everyone who showed up
See you this Friday

How many of those were race boards compared to twin tips?

Can you kite at that location in a Northerly?
Is northerly common for a summer breeze?

I only just spotted your flyers at katani! Holy crap racing is way fun. There were a few of us catching up at elwood beach last year and having a pretty informal crack at the sailboarders course.

I'll try to rustle up a couple of the guys and get to the next event ! We've got a few race boards among us.
