Hi all, been riding a sector 52 for several sessions now. Loving the upwind and speed capabilities. Tacks are coming along ok and gybes in more than 15 knots are going alright, but I'm not sure if there's a different sequence/technique for lighter winds when it's easier to lose line-tension?

In moderate or stronger wind this is what I do:

1. Loosen feet a little in straps
2. Raise kite a little while still at speed
3. Move the old back foot to the new front strap
4. Move the old front foot back to just in front of the back strap and
5. At about the same time initiate a downloop and the carve to the new tack
6. As I approach the new heading and the kite is through the downloop I put my back foot into the strap.

Any tips or videos on light wind gybes would be appreciated,

Cheers

Try starting board turn before down loop.
