What's the best way to add a brake handle to another brand bar (Cabrinha) to better fly an Ozone foil kite? Both bars have low v splits.

Thanks

I did a couple just yesterday....
470mm +/- from the bottom of the bar tie a knot in both back leader lines. If the leaders are pu covered Ozone make a split ball which with a slight drillout mod will fit any leader. I did a loop with a locking splice on both ends of a piece of 3-5 mm dyneema. Larks head the loops and slide them over and down the rear lines till they reach the knots/ball stops.
Getting the ideal length of the brake handle is a little tricky but adding 80mm to my bar witdth worked perfectly. ......
500mm bar + 40mm for a little play/droop + 40mm for larks heads.

Thanks mate. No fear that tying a knot will weaken the steering lines?

You don't want to tie the steering lines, just the leaders. The Ozone bar I have that is supplied ready to take a brake handle has a knot in the leader with a small sliding ball. The measurements I gave for lengths are the Ozone measurements for position up the leader and length of brake handle.
