Here is a short clip that i have cut from yesterdays session on the river. It was mega gusty and choppy so the tacks are maybe not as smooth as they could have been but this vid shows both ways of tacking.

i noticed you go round the back on one tack and round the front on the other.
do your lines get twisted??
Yeah if you do the back roll tack one way and the normal tack the other way then yes you will get twisted lines. But if you have a good bar system you can untwist the lines no problem (as you can see in the vid)
I normally do the back roll tack these days but i thought i should show both on this vid because people where asking about tacking facing down wind when i posted my last vid.
Looks like I should have hit the river. it was gusty megga choppy and swelly on the ocean. I still got up and running on my new V4 but did not nail a single tack.
Nice to see damo, pretty smooth and fluid, also great that you showed eveyrthing even when you almost went in..
Going to mount my camera simliar position for the next couple of days and will give you uys a look once I get it done and moved house :)
