flicking channels. Australian survivor. Do you mean to tell me that we dont have a suitable area in our whole continent (including remote islands) to record australian survivor? Wouldnt it be that much better if it was in AUS? with an AUS slant?
(its in malaysia somewhere) Dxckheads.

Hells Kitchen.

David Oldfield. WTF?! Why is he trying to increase his profile? WTF?

Its in Samoa.

Nah, the location means nothing to the viewers, but it does mean a lot to the production team and contestants.

Survivor (the US one) is filming again in Fiji, as they have found a location that:

Has good accommodation for the lots and lots of production staff.
Has no annoying bugs that will annoy the contestants and the crew.
Is relatively easy to get to. (Which is probably good for medical support too)
Also relatively easy to get to from California.

For them to stay in the same location, it shows that logistics are a very important part of producing that show.

So, maybe Samoa offers something similar for Australian Survivor?

I remember watching the original Australian Survivor, which I believe they filmed somewhere in the Great Australia Bight in winter. It was funny as its a windy location during winter, and when they did a fire challenge, all the fires were blowing sideways, and burning the rope in the challenge was next to impossible. I think they ended up cancelling that challenge...

Imagine a production crew trying to setup in Ceduna? I am sure there are easier places to get to, and given that there are a lot of water based challenges in Survivor, you probably don't want an area with Great Whites or Crocodiles!

Turn off the box and read a book!

If you want a hilarious book about a survivor style reality series try "Worst Person Ever"

Survivor never appealed to me in any way. Doing silly puzzles and games in a wilderness doesn't really equal survival in the wilderness in my mind. As time goes on I watch less and less free to air TV as its generally pretty boring.

Do you really watch and believe in such rubbish, MyUserName? Who cares where it is filmed ? It could have been somewhere in Bondi.

I would definitely be watching it if David "I didn't do it with that woman" Oldfield and Pauline "He did bad things with me" Hanson are on the set though

Watched that Roger Rogerson show last night, the actor they got to play him was a dead ringer for Roger. Wasn't a bad show tbh.

That was Richard Roxburgh. On the interview in WSFM he said he had to wear a neckpiece in this to match Roger Rogerson.

Even after listening to the interview, I missed watching it!

C'mon South, surely you've seen the like walking past your boat to the gin palace at the marinas.

Note: I've only been assaulted by the ads when the remote was out of reach.

I think the best produced and entertaining TV is the Matthew Evans gourmet farmer. The new series is now viewing Thursday nights on SBS at 8pm. Down to earth Ozzie!
