i,m watching ATM , great that AUS scored ! But i don't under stand the game very well .

Can some one tell me if its common practice for the offense team to stand in the defense lineup when a free kick is taken .

ie in that half Korea had a free kick and Aus players stood in a line to protect the goal . I had seen that before . But in that instance a couple Korean players stood amongst the defenders in the line up .

Is it just that the players can stand where ever they want . and this just a tactic in case the ball hits the line , and the offense can get to it easier and goal ?

The fire works at the end where a nice touch . But would we have let them off if the Koreans had won ? ..................Dont think so .............

"Hey Joe pack up the sky rockets mate and label them NYE 2015/16"

But seriously great win , for the aus team .

Yes it is common.

And yes, they would have had fireworks regardless of who won
