BRITISH government bureaucrats are urging Prince Harry not to invite the Obamas to his wedding for fear of infuriating Donald Trump.
Harry and fiancee Meghan Markle have told aides they want the former US president and wife Michelle at their big day on May 19, according to The Sun.
The 33-year-old prince has become good friends with the Obamas since bonding with them during the Invictus Games.
But Britain's relations with Trump's White House have sunk to their lowest ebb since his election last year.
I'm no royalist, or follower of what the in people are doing, but the thought of the British Gov't kow towing to Trump's tantrums, fills me with, disgust, despair, outrage and probably a few others I can't think of.
Not a good look.
But now they (they being the UK Government) have decided to leave the EU, they have put all their trading eggs in one basket.
US can bully them as much as they like now and the British can show a stiff upper lip and all that but eventually will come to realisation that they are in fact in the USA's pocket.
It would give Trump a great excuse to not turn up for the little upstart's wedding.
Isn't it lovely how people "bond" so easily these days....
Now Obama is lecturing Trump not to use social media because it is wrong and dangerous.
This is the same Obama who used social media to get into power in the first place.
The truth shall release him.
Harry will invite Obama because the Windsor's perceive a populist point scoring opportunity.
Harry needs to get back to Afghanistan and do some DUTY, not become a wedding planner.
If the royal family were to evaporate in an instant I would be smiling for years.
