Anyone have them?
I've just been officially told to stay away from penicillins / all beta-lactams.
Not being one for wearing bangle thingies or dog tags, the Sandwichmaker suggested a tatt. 
Any ideas or examples

Have heard of them but it would have to be fairly visable. Id still look into medic alert bracelet. Must be a good variety these days. Also maybe carry a alert card somewhere on you. But I guess a medic alert tattoo is good too. If life is at risk, maybe do both.
How allergic to Penicillin are you? I'd get some more advice before you go getting a tattoo, if it's only a mild reaction like a rash or something then a tattoo seems pretty drastic. However if if you're going to have an acute life-threatening reaction I'd tattoo that **** somewhere really obvious.
If you want some examples I just googled 'medic alert tattoo image' and there are bucketloads to look at.
You're better off with a medic alert bracelet.
I've tended to a few people with medical problems over the years and I've always looked for a bracelet.
One guy I helped had half a medical dictionary on his and it identified the problem in 30 seconds flat.
I've never gone looking for tattoos. I don't know that many people would.
If there's no bracelet I would stop looking.
Get a bracelet. Everybody recognizes them.

Failed the scratchy test,
Failed the lots of little jabs test,
Failed the low dose liquid stuff test,
Vet didn't want to go for the higher dose challenge test, main reason being that breathing was becoming noticeably awkward after the low dose challenge.
As for the itchy rash - that made the next few days real interesting too
Still not sure which way to go, bangle or tatt.
Hate wearing bracelets - chains - watches etc.
Wedding ring is only worn as it ensures the safety of the family jewells.

Family jewels aint much us without the deliveryman, double down on that bling.
But the serious response lays with whether responders and medics would look for tats, serious question to research.
