The driver in me wants the BMW, but the greeny in me wants the hybrid.

Yes I know some of you would take the money and do something else with it, but I think I'd go for one of the cars.
when you drive either of the cars out the showroom they are worth 10% less there and .and the value will keep going down.
the cash will be worth the same ,pity about the crap interest

Naaa , I'd take 20 grand and a perfect , only driven on road Landcruiser .
Sell it and spend a third on hookers, a third on booze and drugs,. Then waste the rest.
Get the beamer. Then put solar panels on your house to offset the slightly increased carbon footprint
Well a hybrid is the worst of both worlds so scrub that one for a start, either go full EV or full internal combustion engine.
Don't know much about Beamers but I agree get a 2 year old car over the new one, and avoid any of the modern diesels, DPFs are bad news.
