Entries are now open for the Lancelin Ocean Classic, held next year 12 – 15 January 2017. The event will be held over four massive days and includes two windsurfing events (wave sailing and marathon), kitesurfing events (waves and marathon) as well as an ocean paddling event. Those entering the marathon will receive a 20% discount on the entry fee of any non-marathon events when they enter online.
Following from the success of the combined marathon events last year, windsurfers and kitesurfers will complete the same marathon course, together on the Saturday, with Sunday being our reserve day. This is the second year in the long history of the event that the windsurfers and kitesurfers will be competing on the same course, following growing demand from athletes. Taking on board feedback from last year the start line procedures for both the Paddle, Kite and Windsurfing will be much improved.
