I've got a pair... I love them, but.... I don't know what the technical term is, but they have a 'heavy weave' (?). Wax sticks to them like it's going outta fashion. Also, they have two layers, and the inner layer kinda slides against the outer layer. Sitting on my board, waiting for a wave, I feel like I'm gonna slide off.
other than that, damn well made, and I do love 'em. From memory, I also had to go up a size from what I normally wear.

Those go waaaaaaay back, a southern California company, always very popular and they last a long time, got my first pair back in the mid 60's when I was first learning how to surf. Proven board shorts.

Best shorts I've owned, yep, I live in tassie, but we had a very hot summer, don't chafe, don't fall down, dry pretty well and some stores in AUS stock them, picked mine up at noosa longboards cheaper than direct from the US.
