I bought one last week (a double SUP) with the hope that (a) it would retain one or two SUPs without a tied down and (b) it would give me confidence that i could leave the SUP(s) on the roof where parked and expect to see them still there when i came back.
So far both those expectations have been met however I have not seen anyone try and get my boards off as yet. I need to ask someone to test it for me.
The small plastic "keys" (four supplied) will wear out so i suggest trying to make your own metal version.
What was disappointing was the need to spend nearly three hours filing down the steel attachment plates to fit the slot on the roof rack.
Anyway I shall report any issues if they arise but meanwhile i think its a great idea for SUPs and kayaks.
