Windsurfing Time is alomot out here in Quebec Canada. But still windskatable!

I wanted to show where windskate is now her in Montreal region . New moves for 2014... Really happy with that, so here it is if you want to see it!

Have fun!

I'm sure this is not easy but if that's where wind skating is at now then I'll wait a few years before I watch another vid. Ditch the sail and stick with the longboard

Well I thought it looked really good. Specially the wipe outs.

I thought this stuff was fun back in 1978, until the gravel rash got too awesome,
and a chunk of my chin was left smooshed along the bitumen outside Greenwood High School.

Mind you - my windskating set-up was a bit more "agricultural" and the design was worthy of a Darwin Award.

We are not as lucky as you guys, here in Montreal. We can't play on the wave with a surf board as easy as you guys. So we have to do something else. Some prefer TV, some prefer to move...

Skate is cool. Windskate is really cool too when you like wind and windsurfing. It's also more fun to do then to watch. It's not as dangerous as it's look like. If you start like I do, using the sail to brake (like we could see on the beginning) , you could control your speed.

Have a good day guys!

May the wind be with you!

That was excellent thank you.
I wind skate very regularly .
I think its a great form of excersize .
Sometimes we have wind inland but there is nothing on the water .
Sometimes i just don't have time to get to the water.
Sometimes i go at nights .
Do you do speed runs & if so how fast are you going ?
I must admit i have watched all your other videos at times as well.
Keep up the good work

Hi Actiomax! We think the same. Windskate is good and easy to do if you don't have so much time. I don't really do some speed. I try to go not so faster then I could run! :) Hard to say how fast! Fast enought to get in trouble sometime... But, I remember one friend on the past, he was allways trying to go as fast I he could and it was scary to watch.... haha! Concreate is hard! I try to work on the fuidity of the move more then speed. Have fun!

I like to work on the fluidity of the move as well its great to move with style & grace but if the winds right & i can get to the bigger tarmacs i go for speed .
I was drag racing a ute & he was calling out the speeds I hit 80km but that was the limit with that board i had the death wobbles . New board with the drop through trucks are supposed to hit 150km before death wobbles . I have to think about body armour & a helmet if I'm going to try that problem is i would need a freeway to have enough room . I did just mucking around with the kids one day fit a brake foot pedal block with a skate devil on it A skate devil is flints i think And shot of big sparks but i found it a bit difficult trying to sail with really just one foot the other was pressing pedal & wasn't being used for balance sparkes were great didn't last long though & there illegal now as the can cause fires or something don't really see how its not like you can skateboard in a forest .
I did buy a surf skate board it has a spring loaded swivelling front trucks I thought it would simulate windsurfing more but i didn't really work maybe if i make a new deck & mount the mast behind the front wheels it might work but the kids like riding it as it is & it did cost $380 so I'm reluctant to just pull it apart maybe soon i will .
My son has a 2mtr 2 string kite & he goes on a ripstick I thought that was an accident waiting to happen but he goes great but seems to have lost interest laterly
