After 23 years of operation Windforce Watersports (Previously Pelican Point Windsports) is closing down.

The owners, past and present, have always been passionate about our sports but unfortunately at times the numbers have to get priority over the passion. It is unfortunate that we haven't an option to continue trading at our present location and this has played a big part in our decision.

We are extremely disappointed that this has to be the case, and would like to thank all of our customers for their support over the years.

We will be having a "All stock must go" Closing Down Car Park Sale on April the 1st, so make sure you come along and get the best deals ever on Windsurf, Kite and SUP.All stock will be heavily discounted with many items below cost, so you would be crazy to miss out!

Our school and rental at JH Abraham Reserve on the Swan River, and our other shop Airborne Kitesurfing / Stand Up Paddle Sports in Osborne Park will continue to operate as normal and we look forward to assisting you in the future.

Please let us know if you are coming on F.B.

1st of April happens to be a Saturday, the day of the week they are likely to get the most people there. I'm sure they have their reasons for picking the 1st of April, which have nothing to do with April fools. From what I know the closure was not something the shop owner wanted to do at all.

It's no joke unfortunately, for us in Perth.

Sorry if you consider it is "Dumb", practically it was the day that worked.

Had to be a Saturday, the 25th was too soon and the 6th too late.

Fortunately people that know us, know we wouldn't joke about something this serious.

It is just another day of the year.

Subsonic was on the money.

I gather you do literally nothing at all every single 1st April, in case people think you are a joke?

Back on track, Stephen I note the update yesterday to secondhand boards, is the secondhand sail list a reasonable indication of what is on hand? or will it be updated?

Hi All,

I am not without a sense of humour but the close of Windforce is not something I would joke about and the date we chose to have a sale is one of practicality. We intend to sell as much as we can and thus have priced the gear accordingly! I hope everyone has a chance to get a bargain. We have a few more used sails in stock than listed on our site but doubt I will have time to update.

Cheers
Stephen

Windforce will be closed this Friday due to preparations for the huge "Closing Down Sale" on Saturday.

Many people have asked about what is going to be at the sale and for how much, we are still sorting our prices and getting stock from our warehouse.

So unfortunately the only way to find out is to turn up on Saturday.

- We are going to have a HUGE range of Windsurfing, biggest Windsurf carpark sale ever.
- How about New Starboard Windsurf boards from $299?
- Big range of new and second hand Severne Sails.
- Over 20 boards and rigs from our Windsurf School.
- Great range of kiting gear from Slingshot and Airush.
- SUP Gear from Starboard, Naish and ??
- DVDs, fins, paddles, harness lines, key locks, wetsuits, board bags, and much, much more.

++++ ALL STOCK MUST GO++++

Trust us, you won't be disappointed!

See you there!
