Why limit thread titles to less than 50 characters?

That is ridiculous! You need at least 75-100 to accurately describe what is being said in some if not most scenarios. That is like a 5 word limit on all thread titles? Or do you intend us to strt brkng dwn to cmplt sntncs into sentncs wth no vwls at all? WTF!

Mods, just look at how I had to phrase this question

"Y hate on reel leashes when surfers use leashes?"

When really it should have been:

"Why do people hate on reel leashes when surfers regularly use elastic leashes?"

I couldn't even simplify it to this for god sake:

"Why people dislike reel leashes when surfers use leashes?"
