The guvment gives money to airlines to subsidise tickets to places people can't travel to because of corona 19 lockdowns? It's going to happen. Queensland State will not allow people from NSW & Victoria to enter there. All that subsidy will go into the pockets of QANTAS bosses? Are there plans to enlarge the board of directors of QANTAS for a few ex parliamentarians?

Though it is impossible to say where your taxes go, it's pretty sad to think some of them go to rich people in the airline industry. It's pretty sad to think taxes from poor people go to help those live a nice life they have become accustomed to.

We are not allowed to discuss anything now that goes against the grain so i take it this thread is also heading for the bin.

Westozwind calls it misinformation and you are a conspiritard if you discuss it!

Furthermore seabreeze itself has said this....

Heavy Weather (the conspiracy/tin hat/chemtrails/flat earth) forum was removed, and the site has been better for it.

We're a water sports site, and this topic is heading down the same road as Heavy Weather.

Sorry, but you'll need to take the conversation elsewhere (and there are plenty of places).

What happens when ??

.......the funny images thread reaches 1,000 pages. It's half way there.

The page box graphic only has room for three digits, so....

Does it re-set to 0 ?
Does it lock itself out ?
Is the topic automatically closed ?
Does the text just get really small so it fits inside the box ?
Does it try to put four digits in a three digit box and become a funny image itself, thus entering a continuous loop from which nothing can escape ???

There will be a global reset where Laurie sets the page count to 23 and expects everyone to go along with it. There will be dozens or even thousands that will see this for what it is, world domination, and then campaign against it. Just not on Seabreeze.

It's a barrel of pork masquerading as a gift for the middle class that is ignorant enough to take the bribe at election time and prop up the liberal house of cards.

The taxpayer has basically bought 800000 tickets, even if the borders shut down again the fat cats still get your money.

I heard QANTAS was the biggest beneficiary of the Job Keeper handout. Interesting isn't it? Who owns QANTAS?

QANTAS could reasonably argue their business has been destroyed by factors outside of their control, State action. That is fair enough. What is the solution, subsidising their business in various ways till one day its all good again?

Wonder what peoples thoughts would be if the government put that money in to fixing Aged Care.

$1.2billion to help people who can already travel, travel for cheaper versus $450 million to supposedly fix a broken system that is struggling to care for some of the most vulnerable people.

Got the old people locked up and locked down, they can't even get out to vote for one of two parties with the same agenda anymore.
Can't risk giving citizens a choice of dying of natural causes, would rather make their last year or two a misery.
I'd rather go from a hyped up flu virus than lie in a dirty bed with a dirty bum drugged out of my mind and slowly starving to death on gruel and broken promises and not allowed the comfort of social interaction with my loved ones.
how is it the government sees fit to act however it wants without actually asking anyone first, what sort of democracy is this really? How dare they take our freedoms in the name of protecting the vulnerable without asking if this is what we want.
if the sheeple would just stop testing themselves the virus would miraculously disappear #banthetest

I'm wading through The Creature From Jekyll Island by Edward Griffin.

It's a shame that the book is not compulsory reading in schools. If it was it would completely change the collective understanding of how the monetary system works. One of the chapters catalogues an impressive array of government bailouts of failed corporations and banks, (similar to what is happening with Qantas), The Too BIg to Fails.

The consistency of the failures, and the bailouts, almost leads one to think that the failures are deliberate as they inevitably lead to massive gains by a very small sector of the population.

Gains which are inevitably born by the tax payer class.

It's happening.

Small businesses will be destroyed while big corporations keeps money taken from tax payers.
