This has a wiff of bureaucrats not wanting people to have fun, the two person rule already covers all that needs to be covered.
Watch out for the fun police, they have a truck load of ammunition.

Buill****!
How does going for a surf, paddle, fishing with the family etc. differ from going for a walk, buying a takeaway coffee or binge watching Twin peaks.
None of them are contact sports, Just some people are better at the last two.
There are too many inconsistencies in what is OK and what is not, even in the job scene, a building site with 50 guys on it all using the same toilet is fine, yet painting someones nails is forbidden.
I know that they have to start somewhere but elephants in the room are starting to step on each other.

I hope there are no more than two elephants in the room.
All our beach access is banned for Easter. No nothing at the beach. Why? .....To stop the D&@k Heads driving down from Melbourne to go for a surf. Last weekend was ridiculous, so many people surfing ,swimming and lying on the beach. Didn't go out as it just wasn't the right thing to do. Great call by our council to do this and hopefully stop the craziness
More likely it has a whiff of bureaucrats not wanting the ICU's to overflow.
You mean the same ICU's that are running at 50% with nurses being asked to take days off because it's so quiet.
In the meantime people who need operations (including cancer patients)to improve their quality of life are cancelled for god knows how long!
"if you kiteboard, paddle or windsurfing and consider it essential to your wellbeing, please observe social distancing.. "
whats the problem?

Theyre using a bit of common sense for us in WA (so far). Some of the other states have gone full retard though.

Fantastic, this social isolation thing is working.
Lots of people are having surgery deferred (me included), urgent surgery is still happening though. Personally, I'd rather have surgery deferred because of this social isolation thingy, rather than have it deferred because there was no social isolation and every ward was overflowing with COVID patients and every hospital loading dock was choked with refrigerated containers...

Yes. Those same ICUs.
Isn't that surprisingly good, even excellent news?! It appears we have avoided a catastrophe of, well, biblical proportions. All this just by staying home and watching as much on-demand TV and movies as we can imagine. How easy is that?
And still people can whinge, about how bad it isn't!
Amazing.
edit: wait, let me just check... ah yep. WA. I heard the WA premier say that by closing the borders "WA has done in a few days what it has taken the UK a few years to do (Brexit)." What is in the water over there?
