Trying to settle an argument with the mrs... did Holden bring out a Commodore Walkinshaw model or is Walkinshaw only aftermarket performance upgrades?

also - what is the best radar detector on the market these days?

Regardless, it's only legit if you have the drivers window down and are wearing white-rimmed wraparound speed-dealers

Holden did. HSV and Walkinshaw together, but had to have Holden badges to ensure GroupA racing homologation (had to make 500 cars and had to have factory badges)

1988 VL SS Group A. aka The Plastic Fantasic (or Pig).

Walkinshaw (TWR) got involved after Peter Brock departed ways with HDT over a 'polarising' issue. ;)

HDT became HSV at this time as well.

Illegal in all states except WA. You've only got WA seabreezers as a possibility, it appears they are all law-abiding. The law=abiding thing to do is get a GPS navigator that beeps a warning if you stray over the limit.

Regardless, the new style radars make the current radar detectors obsolete.

Side note: Rumours abound* regarding the size of the radiator fins used, and the relevant downforce generated, when the testing was done to determine once and for all how to make Holden and Ford equally likely to win Bathurst.

* based on evidence gathered when working for FPR.
