To be fair. some of the JJJ covers are pretty good. Not quite 100 versions of stairway to heaven, but still good to hear songs done well by other artists.

^ pretty funny!

After the wiggles video plays, it lets you select the 'Like a version' songs and I think its pretty good listening to this stuff... mind you I also bought a few JJJ 'like a version' CDs in the past. I am not a JJJ listener, but appreciate good artists.

I was more concerned that Cardi B and Nas X made double entries in the top 10, along with Bieber.
I thought the whole purpose of the J's was to show case local, unsigned music. That's why it's government funded, to show case the arts.... Not line the pockets of Sony and Warner.
Triple J has completely lost its focus, the presenters are more focused on their own fame than promoting others, too scare to risk their image on an unknown, better backing big pop....

I didnt think it was possible for JJJ to sink any further. They've lost sight of everything, because they're too busy admiring themselves and telling us how great and cool, and modern they are.
Nothing against the Wiggles, they're great at what they do, but wrong station.

Yep.

Gave up on this station years ago.

It's like listening to Nova.

Yep. I'm older but still like new and original music but listening to this constant remakes of songs on Triple J is sad.

You just need to watch the ads on TV and it's the same artists making money covering other artists songs.

That's why Spotify is great. I can search for something and listen to it without having to be told how "woke" I need to be.

Sad, sad, sad!

I have a thing for Emma the wiggle
she is absolute fire
im glad they won, it's an Australian band that's played for thirty years.
they have a larger back catalogue than nick cave or Paul kelly

I could watch Emma sing and dance all day, the way she smiles and sings I reckon she would be happy like that all the time.

My wife knows of my feelings towards Emma the wiggle and was upset for me now she has left the band.

This post whilst unnecessary highlights that Emma could be our finest export product Australia has produced

Harsh! Mass music has been there before.

Does anyone else recall hottest 100 for 2000? U2 came in second with a piece of crap 'beautiful day' which Triple J had NEVER played before the countdown.

I thought the wiggles cover is really cool , good on them. And the Hitler rant is also funny gs12, that made me laugh

I listened to JJJ through my Uni days in the early 90s, and I out grew the station when I reached about 32. I then moved on to other ad free stations. JJJ = National Youth Network.

Yes Razzonater, Emma is a honey

Hopefully like most rock stars ,stardom will go to their heads and become drug addicts and alcoholics
However it'll make entertaining viewing for the kids for a few months before the all go into rehab
