Hi All,
I'm hoping some of you Northern NSW / SE Qld people can shed some light on the best time of year to travel up the coast from Sydney to Brisbane. I'm looking at hiring a motorhome for my wife's B'day and spending a few weeks cruising up the coast with her and the kids. I'm not too fussed about the surf (although a few waves wouldn't go astray) but was mainly looking for good weather - ie warm anough for the beach and not too much rain as we'll be in a motorhome staying at caravan parks and the kids will go mental if they're cooped up for tool long.
Cheers. Mitch

Its been raining a lot across coastal NSW over the last few months and there is no sign its going to stop raining. If you want a bit of good weather it might be a better bet to go inland.

When is your wife's birthday? Rains all year round in NSW. It is not WA.

Still I reckon go for it. How old are kids? Surf is a bit different in NSW.

April - warm water, early season winter swells, late summer swells, nice air temp relative to sea temp = glassy to offshore conditions (if you know where to go) all day - you missed it
