I gave up ages ago and I can't even remember what season it was.. it was something after that Terminus stuff.

I must admit I was sort of happy when I saw Karl get infected. I got so sick of 'Karl, Karl,....'

I guess it would be even more boring if the series had a group of smart people that just setup somewhere and killed all the zombies.... but the drama in this series just kept getting dragged out so much.

He ended up in a one-on-one showdown with Rick in a field and Rick slit his throat. However, instead of letting him die, they stitched him up and kept him in a cell at Alexandria for 6 years. Over time, Negan saw the error of his ways and he was given occasional time outside his cell. Then Carol set him free one day to go and kill the leader of a rival gang that had killed her son. While he was gone, Maggie returned to Alexandria (remember, Negan had previously killed Maggie's husband, Glen, in front of her with a baseball bat). Carol meets Negan outside and tells him he has been banished by the Alexandria council and so cannot return. Negan stays away for a few months on his own, but realises Carol had only done this so that Maggie wouldn't kill him. He couldn't stay living on his own, and so returns to the Alexandria community. Season 10 ends with Carol warning Negan that if he stays, Maggie is going to kill him. Final scene is Maggie and Negan staring each other off as he returns to his room.

Rather telling that you can sum up a whole series of episodes and lose nothing in the detail. If you insert dramatic drawn out scenes and long long long boring discussions, you have the whole show.

I can't believe myself when I find myself swearing at the characters on the tv as they regularly put themselves into close contact with zombies to kill them, yet they actually have guns.
