Lately I have been watching TV on 'Binge'. I can't say I find much of the new stuff that interesting, but I started watching The Walking dead again.
Why has The Walking Dead turned into a soap opera? I watched this for the first season and thought it was good. The second season was sort of okay, but I can't even remember which season I got up to... it's so boring.
I tried watching season 8 I think, but when I watch it I fall asleep or just turn it off. It's included on 'Binge' but if I had to pay for it I would want my money back.
Has anyone else found tv series that start out really good and then become a pile of crap after a season or two? With this one the producers must have run out of interesting story lines and then just pumped it up to extend it out. Like lots of soap operas it seems that the conversations are slower than real time.
By contrast, I came across 'Sneaky Pete' on Amazone Prime and its good. It got canned after series 3, but its an interesting series.
the pinball machine is pretty good
i have one for sale
for the right price
Lol!
I never really got into pinball machines. I am more of a Galaga/Donkey Kong type person. I have a few jamma boards that I should get out and fire up.
Just watch the walking dead at any entrance to a supermarket apply the toxic brew before signing in.
A real life experience is always far better than a video.
It's ended up not so different from The Bold and the Beautiful, just lots of deep conversations with meaningful looks between each other. Just wish they'd wrap it up or get on with things, either would do.
Try watching the Age of Samurai on Netflix. And if you do tell me if it's any good.
So far, all week it's been on the opening screen of Netflix for me but it refuses to load.
All I get is that little red circle spinning in the centre.
Is that what those astronomers were looking at a few months ago and trying to pass off as a "black hole"?
I used to enjoy walking dead but after few seasons it got quite repetitive. I think I kinda suffered through season 6 or so and never watched the rest even though I paid for it on Foxtel. I guess I had enough of Rick's sweaty, sorry ass look ![]()
Netflix suggestion: MindHunter. Two seasons.really enjoyed it

If you were here you might see the side-splitting belly laughs. Nope. Not here even.

Yeah, there are only so many seasons you can put up with 'Carl, Carl, blah blah blah.'
When I was a kid I thought it was funny that soap opera conversations could last days and days and you could still pick up what was said even if you missed episodes. TWD is now like that. It's not funny.
I will wait for my Netflix subscription to start again and try out MindHunter. Thanks.
I watched 1 episode of The Walking Dead and gave up.
I pissed because I watched the final episode of Vikings last night and Netflix cancelled Altered Carbon.
Looks like its back to reading.

BS, you have velcro shoes.
Is this the most miserable thread in the 30 year history of seabreeze?
Nah, I think that was a few years back when some guy was going through a midlife crisis and bought a Bedford van. We don't get that caliber of participant these days though. ![]()
Watch the walking dead episode that introduces Negan and Lucille. Season 7 episode 1. Maybe watch the last episode of season 6 too, just to set it up better.
Extremely traumatic
The episode gave me ptsd.
It may not have the same impact if you are not attached to some of the characters well enough
and Netflix cancelled Altered Carbon.
Looks like its back to reading.
If you liked AC the Expanse on Prime will fill that gap
Has anyone watched season 11 - FormulaNova?
I gave up ages ago and can't remember what season it was. Terminus?
I don't know if I watched it or just read about them killing Karl, and TBH that's as good an ending as you can get, except maybe for killing off his dad, whatever his name was.

Definitely gives more support to cull the general section than any other thread has.
