i did like a five months there over 20 years ago. I remember one sunday every tv channel had AFL on, and I turned on the radio and they were all ex afl players talking about AFL in between songs. It's my opinion that because the weather is ****e people don't do much over winter and have narrow interests. So AFL wins. I think the place is a shxthole

Let's all be honest here. Give the tigers the cup now and let's call the season quits. No one can come close on at the MCG also given they will have the healthiest list, the list whose had the most rest and a whole squad of seasoned finals football players now.

As far as the overall discrimination against those who talk and walk football; well .... there is always someone dribbling sh1t about something.

Could be someone insinuating the stupidity of those who continually talk about football, still talking sh1t.

I used to think formula one was ridiculous until I sat down and watched it with an enthusiast who knew what was going on. Fascinating.

I didn't understand rugby union at all, watched that with some NSW crew a couple of times as they explained the rules, tactics etc..fascinating.

I grew up playing and understanding Australian Rules, so when I watch a game and the strategy unfolding it is fascinating.

So to those that knock football watchers, you don't get the game nor the intricacies. Doesn't mean you are of lesser intelligence.

and also let those lowest common toothless denominators enjoy barracking mindlessly for their team have their village idiot fun. it keeps the masses focused on something else rather than whats really going on.... don't judge.
