What a great game this will be! Buddy vs his old team Hawthorn.
Clearly the best two sides of the year. I think the swans will win but only just
What do you guys think

Last weeks games both footie perfection this week the north swans not upto much thought scot would have been better tactically but the port hawks was g8. The last swans hawks a few weeks back was tactically brilliant by clarkson. So capt like u I am optimistic do not mind who wins as long as outcome decided in last 1/4.. The major thing I miss about living in Melb'. No easy access to footie

Cheers

One of the worst Grand finals I have ever seen. It wasn't even a contest

It is sad that the swans lost like they did being beaten by 63 points. On the other hand though great effect by the hawks to go back to back.

Serves Sydney right!

They spent millions buying in what they thought would give them a guaranteed win in the finals, and so got caught up intheir own supposd brilliance.

Any team playing in the final four is good enough to win. In the finals, it all comes down to mental attitude, and Swans had the belief, either subconcious or not, that they were invincible because of how much they paid. That's a sure fire recipe for defeat and that's exactly what happened.
They had all the ingredients to win except for the mental attitude,.. the unassailable determination to win. That determining factor was held by Hawthorne.

I'm glad they won because that makes the Dockers look better. It was Hawthorn which despatched the dockers out of the final. ANd I might add, that same determination to win was shown in that game. Sydney should have seen that and taken note. They might have done a bit better,.. even if only to the extent of not having been caned to the tune of a 63 point loss.

Oops,.. you're right,. Hawthorn was going to be the next obstacle if they got past Port Adelaide,.. and they didn't quite get that far,..
Oh well,.. maybe next year,.. or the year after that,.. or after that,.

Yep - Clarkson - tactical mistro - did not let Swans into the game.. - not that entertaining...
Talking of which -
Tom Jones - WT!! The audience who used to throw knickers at him in his prime would be throwing bloomers or puncture repair kits for their wheelchairs..
It is like entering a Jaguar E-type into a Formula 1 race - DOOOOh..
Perhaps it was Demetriouuuuus's last hoorraah for his mum.

Shambles....

All good - till next year...

That the most clinical display of footy I've seen for a long time... Cats in 2007 were super hungry that year too... 2007 Cats, 2014 Hawks, both teams bolted out of the blocks early, and never looked back!

I still have to watch the replay... Only caught about 60% of the game, as we were hosting a Grand Final BBQ.

Personally it shows the lack of class, in no other sport would you see such a void in score between finalists
