Is anyone else having this problem - when I open Seabreeze and have a look at the kite forum general section I keep getting pop up spam - the crap ones that say your computer has been blocked but is sharing all of your personal information - and phone this number urgently to get a fix - all a spam apparently!!

But the only way to close down the pop up tab which overrides everything is to use the task manager and shut down the browser. This appears to be a Seabreeze website issue it seems - Laurie do you know whats going on ??

only annoying, and all to regular pop-up I get is this :

What do you want to do with sponsor.js?
From: seabreeze.com.au

with boxes for: Save, Save as, Cancel

clicking on any of them doesn't achieve much.

only been appearing recently, only on seabreeze - and starting to get annoying

Sounds like your computer is infected with malware/adware. Can be a bit of a hassle to get rid of, but it'd doable. More than once I've found something has installed itself to the point where it appears in the list of programs in the control panel and can simply be uninstalled from there. I would try:
- Checking every program in your Programs and Features list in Control Panel and working out if it's needed or not. This may be a bit daunting depending on your level of computer-nerdery, but it's a good way to get your head around just what's on your machine. Windows does tend to bloat...
- Run a malware/adware removal program. I haven't used any for ages but I seem to recall the name Malwarebytes as something that was good. Google what the good ones are and see what comes up.
- Similar to your Programs and Features, have a look through your browser plugins. The more I think about it the more I think it was there and not in Control Panel Programs I had some nasty things playing havoc with my web browsing.

Hope this helps.
