Never ceases to amaze me how self-centered and short-sighted some people are.

LOL, its the Aussie way mate, thats how we roll here, we make the best out of a bad situation, make the most of the positives, not have a sook about it, we man up, help out and we carry on.

And you obviously dont understand how Aussie sarcasm works like the last 2 above posts display.
But I'll reply to your trolling for a reaction post, even though I know its what you were desiring .

But if you want to talk about self centered, Kinda like the unvaxed thinking about their own strange weird conspiracy theories over the safety of their own family and community.
But I guess when our country has the least amount of cases and deaths in the world, with 90% vaxed being the reason, it becomes clear the self centered , stuff y'all crew, my life is more important than anyone elses, people and countrys really are.
Lucky you not a local aussie cause its very unaustralian not to stand by and help ya mates and community, well , thats how we have all been bought up in our country.

Took that kind of personally, didn't you? May or may not have been directed at you but I guess you decided that for us.

LOL did the media tell you that, or your politicians?

Australia ranks 89th in the world for number of total cases, and 105th for number of deaths. Uzbekistan's done a better job.

54th for number of active cases though.

Yeah good work, mate, on ya . Those lockdowns really do a great job eh. (that's sarcasm by the way)

I think that after our celebrated success of being the number one drinking nation, our politicians have decided they want to have a crack at achieving number one for active cases status.

Using Uzbekistan as an argument winner is GOLD. For sure, their testing and reporting regime is top class.

lol,
The CTer's like those types of countrys that lack accurate info to use as examples.
Lucky in Aus the majority have the smarts to get vaxed, only 10% aren't, most that aren't cant for medical reasons, so only a tiny percent of aussies have been sucked into the antivax twitter youtube "doctors". lol

Yeah, I know you are joking, but everyone I know that wants to leave, won't leave the state as they are worried about not being able to get back in.

It makes you wonder if the people in WA wanting to 'open up' will be thinking the same thing in 3 months or regretting it? We have had it pretty easy over here so it's easy to dismiss the problems the other states have faced.

Why would I want to leave?

Over the last 20yrs or so I've heard plenty of pisstakers about WA not having 24/7 shopping for widgets ..... and that you can't have all the "advantages" of Sydney, London, Tokyo and New York.
I live in watersports paradise with 30,000 ppl so its big enough town that I have access to pretty much everything the city has..... but not one single case of COVID. Ever.
Not one day I could not go to the beach. Ever.

All the daylight savings and Wait Awhile jokes, and Loto's bogan slurs, are looking pretty pointless now huh.

Sounds perfect. If I didn't have so many family ties in Sydney I'd be over in a flash!

It really depends on your free time. It was really painful for me in NSW in lockdown when we couldn't travel interstate like WA.

But it's great now to be able to travel again. I just hope the powers that be don't get all germ phobe and close borders again.

+1 mark! I feel for people who have not had the opportunity to spend time with their family and that sucks, but life with no covid, no masks, no restrictions is hard to beat.
