Was chasing some recommendations on a decent soft deck surfboard for my kids. The last one I bought was a cheap Piping Hot board that survived barely a season before it delaminated and the sides started peeling off. I suppose it is to be expected given it only cost $90.

I am chasing a board that will help my boys (7 & 9 years old) progress.

Cheers for any ideas!

There was a good thread in the surf section a year or two back, some sweet suggestions. Try to Google it up.

No "Wavestorm"s down under?
They are becoming a huge hit in the U.S. Wavestorm surfboards and paddle boards, I'm starting to see them everywhere, and the people that I know who have one say they work as described, meaning pretty well. They are carried at Costco, a large box store type chain all over our country.
