Anyone else sleep walk. Last night i poured milk all over the kitchen bench and put the sponge washing up things in the toaster nearly burnt down the house. Previous to this i have been know to sleep walk and un screw light bulbs and run down the road naked. Is this normal ? Im so glad i haven't found any dead bodies buried out the back

Is this normal? As opposed to what? Sleeping through out the night and not doing any of these things? then no. Not normal.
You don't have a step brother called Dale or Brennan?

Wouldn't it be an easy fix to just leash yourself to the bed?

I've slept walk (and talked) my whole life. Usually it's just around the house but when i was 14/15 i opened the front door at 2am and walked around my street (culdesac) with my dad watching.

Another time we were at anchor at the Montebello's and i got out of bed and started to climb onto the swim platform. 3 or 4 blokes still up thought it was hilarious.

Probably pretty common

I went through a stage a few years back where Id go for a wonder at night.

I didnt know I was doing it, till one morning I woke up with wet grass covered dirty feet and had know idea how.
Wasnt till my neighbor asked me what was wrong last night ? I asked what are you talking about?
He then went on to tell me at 2am I was pacing up and down along my fence line, so he came out and asked what was up? I apparently gave him a death stare for a few seconds then went on pacing. lol

Since then I lock the front door with a key then hide the key in the kitchen draw. But have woken up in the morning before and the key is back in the door.
Its hard to hide something from yourself.

Yeah dont worry Buster. I used to sleepwalk a lot, used to get up and try and water the indoor plants. Once went round to wifes side of bed and tried to pee in the wardrobe. She steered me to the dunny.
worst was wandering up our street starkers mumbling to myself. Wife came and got me but not before neighbours across the road spotted me.
Dont remember any of it and wouldnt believe it until neighbour confirmed. So embarrassment!!

I sleep walked once and ended up in my neighbour's mrs bed while he was away. I don't remember a lot but the kids never looked at me the same way again. Come to think of it neither did the dog.

Solution could be LUCID DREAMS, or maybe not.
It is actually quite fun to know that everything you are dreaming is fake , so you could suddenly control to some extend action in that dream.

But combination of LUCID DREAMS and SLEEP WALKING could be real disaster.
While walking in the sleep and been assured that everything you do now is just a fake and dream could have surprising consequences if things from dream becomes suddenly real, and you are responsible for consequences, not like in the cream that everything can go unpunished.
If such case only hard chain to the bed could help .
one of best experiences of lucid dreams could be flying on demand , at will. But combination with real sleep walking and flying could be suddenly a problem.

As a child I would sleep walk. Then later in life I suffered sleep paralysis (the inability to move after waking) which was terrifying, I'd never really considered the two might be connected. Just learning about it was enough to cure it. Wish I'd studied it earlier as this went on for years.

I fell out of bed dreaming I was bodysurfing recently. I remember standing up to get out of the water and next thing I'm falling walking off the bed. Fell like a ton of bricks.
Cut my arm annd cracked some ribs on a wooden box on the floor.
It was like the feeling you get when you drop in your sleep but scarier as I knew that I was really falling. Scared the crap out of me and now I sleep with a spare pillow next to the bed.

I went to a work function got a bit to drunk and leading hand took me to his house to sleep it off. i went to sleep on couch then woke up middle of night wanting a piss and ended up opening his 19yr olds daughters room instead of toilet. Anyways when i woke up in the morning i ended up pissing myself on his couch and i turned the couch cushions up-side down and i left his house an not spoken about it since. (18 years ago)
